Description

Ingredients & Key Benefits

Multi-Strain Probiotic Blend

Contains 30 billion allergen-free CFU (colony-forming units) per serving to support a healthy gut microbiome. Probiotics enhance digestive immune response, produce lactic acid to inhibit yeast growth, and block adhesion sites of harmful pathogens, creating a barrier against infections.

Slippery Elm Bark

A traditional Native American remedy, Slippery Elm is a demulcent that soothes and strengthens mucous membranesin the digestive, respiratory, and urinary tracts. Supports protection against stomach and duodenal ulcers, colitis, diverticulitis, GI inflammation, and acidity.

L-Glutamine (Amino Acid)

Supports healthy mucous membranes and connective tissue, promoting gut integrity and aiding in the management of leaky gut. Helps protect the gastrointestinal lining from irritants and supports proper digestive function.

Deglycyrrhizinated Licorice (DGL)

A safe form of licorice root with glycyrrhizin removed, DGL supports gastric mucosa, improves circulation, enhances protective secretions, and promotes growth of new mucosal cells.

Larch Arabinogalactan

A prebiotic derived from Larch trees, it supports colon health and immune function. Commonly used as an adjunct in chronic conditions, infections, and immune support, Larch Arabinogalactan may also help modulate inflammatory responses.

Aloe Vera

Known for its soothing and healing properties, Aloe Vera supports gastrointestinal comfort, helps with constipation, and provides amino acids, enzymes, vitamin C, and essential minerals. Topically, it aids in wound healing and dermatitis.

Frequently Asked Questions

➤ Do I have to use the entire container, or can I stop once symptoms disappear?

For best results, we recommend using Gut Soothe for a minimum of 6 weeks. This follows the traditional herbalist approach that the body typically requires about 6 weeks to process and respond to healing.

For chronic conditions — especially those that have been heavily medicated or ongoing for over a year — long-term support may be needed. In these cases, rotating Gut Soothe with Love Bugs or Healthy Gut can provide ongoing balance.

Many animals remain on Gut Soothe long term simply because they feel better when it’s part of their routine.

➤ Do I stop using other probiotics?

It’s not necessary to give additional probiotics while using Gut Soothe, as it already contains a powerful blend with 30 billion CFUs per serving for a medium-sized dog.

If your pet is already on another probiotic, it’s fine to finish the current supply or gradually wean off rather than stopping abruptly. Just keep in mind that too many probiotics may cause loose stools, so monitor your pet closely if combining products.

➤  What is the shelf life of Gut Soothe?

Gut Soothe has a minimum shelf life of 12 months when stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

➤ Will Gut Soothe interact with other medications?

Gut Soothe should not be given to animals receiving anticoagulant (blood-thinning) drugs. If your pet is being treated for an existing condition or is currently taking any medication, it is always best to consult your veterinarian before use.

➤ What is the difference between Gut Soothe and Healthy Gut?

Both products share the same base: the pre- and probiotic blend found in Love Bugs. The difference lies in the added support:

  • Gut Soothe contains herbal components to help calm inflammation and support the gut lining.

  • Healthy Gut contains digestive enzymes to aid in breaking down food and improving nutrient absorption.

➤ Can I give Gut Soothe with other medications?

If your pet is on pharmaceutical medications, we recommend giving Gut Soothe 1–2 hours after the medication to allow time for proper absorption. This is because herbs such as marshmallow root and slippery elm contain mucilage, a gel-like substance that coats the digestive tract lining. While this helps soothe irritation and inflammation, it may also interfere with the absorption of medications and nutrients if given at the same time.

If you’re concerned, you can mix Gut Soothe into bone broth or kefir, ensuring it is given separately from medications.
