LIGHT Menu Beef with Pumpkin, Mango and Artichoke

Terra Canis Light Menu Meals – Complete Food for Dogs

Terra Canis’ Light Menu Meals are specially crafted for dogs with excess weight or a slower metabolism, who benefit from a reduced-fat, low-calorie diet. Each recipe contains just around 3% fat and is designed to support healthy weight management while providing a greater feeling of satiation—without compromising on taste or nutritional value.

All Terra Canis LIGHT menu recipes use lean meat and select low-starch fruits and vegetables to provide high-quality nutrition without unnecessary calories. Key ingredients such as coconut flour, grape seed oil, and artichoke leaves help support fat metabolism and may contribute to healthier blood lipid levels. Added fibre from psyllium husks promotes a feeling of fullness to help regulate appetite.

For best results, it is recommend combining this diet with regular exercise to support your dog’s overall health and weight management.

Ingredients & Their Role in Weight Management:

To assist dogs with weight management and their nutritional needs, the unique Terra Canis LIGHT complex adds plants, herbs and vital substances to the bowl that support the digestive organs, gastrointestinal mucosa and intestinal flora in a natural way.

• Proteins – High-quality lean protein sources that help maintain muscle mass while reducing fat. Protein increases satiety, helping dogs feel full for longer. Organs are nutrient-dense without being calorie-dense.
• Courgette and Pumpkin – Very low in calories and high in water and fibre. Help bulk up meals without adding many calories, promoting a feeling of fullness. Pumpkin also supports digestion and can help regulate stool consistency.
• Papaya and Parsnip* – Papaya contains digestive enzymes and fibre, aiding gut health and metabolism. Parsnip is relatively low in fat and adds fibre, helping increase satiety.
• Coconut Flour & Pumpkin Seed Flour – High in fibre and low in digestible carbs. Promote a feeling of fullness while helping regulate blood sugar and digestion.
• Psyllium – A rich source of soluble fibre that swells in the stomach, creating a greater feeling of satiety. Helps regulate appetite and bowel movements.
• Rapeseed Oil – Provides essential omega fatty acids in small amounts. Supports metabolism and healthy skin, without excess calories.
• Brewer’s Yeast* – Rich in B vitamins that support energy metabolism. May also support a healthy coat and digestion.
• Oyster Shell* – Natural source of calcium, important for overall health during weight loss to preserve bone integrity.
• Herbs (Basil, Rose Hip, Artichoke Leaf*, Dandelion*)** – Artichoke leaf and dandelion are known for supporting liver function and fat metabolism. Rose hip provides antioxidants and vitamin C, supporting immune health during weight loss. Herbs like basil may aid digestion and reduce inflammation.
• Mineral Clay* and Seaweed* – Provide essential trace minerals that support metabolism and detoxification.
• Seaweed is also rich in iodine, important for healthy thyroid function, which directly affects metabolism.
• Minerals – Ensure the food remains a complete and balanced meal, even with lower fat and calories.
