The first dog food in 100% human grade quality! Manufactured at a Bavarian butcher’s with love & care.
Ever since it was founded in 2005, Terra Canis has been the first wet food available in specialist retailers that contains 100% human grade quality ingredients.
Terra Canis has thus set completely new quality standards in the pet food industry.
All products are manufactured primarily from muscle meat and high-quality raw ingredients at a Bavarian family butcher that otherwise only produces human food.
The exceptional quality of these products is evident as soon as the tin opens. Terra Canis’ menus have a scrumptious aroma to them that will awaken your own senses, just as though you have cooked them at home, yourself.
This is in complete contrast to almost all other products on the market. Animal meal, slaughterhouse waste and other low-quality raw materials and bulking agents that are routinely used in industrially manufactured food are a complete no-go at Terra Canis.
All of their ingredients are clearly labeled on the packaging, but more importantly they are simply that – ingredients that we all know, recognise and can pronounce; unlike the chemical derivative names you would usually find on the back of a kibble bag or mainstream wet food.
Typical pet food plants process the so-called “Category 3 Materials” (offal, slaughter by-products, old meat, 4D meats from dead diseased, dying or destroyed animals etc.), into pet food. These are classified as waste materials, because they lack freshness, hygiene and/or their bacterial count is too high and hence no longer approved for human consumption. The end result is products that are a far cry from Terra Canis’ standards and the quality of the food which nature provides for wolves in the wild through their natural prey.
This is why Terra Canis have chosen a different path to the one taken by the mainstream pet food manufacturers and use top quality raw materials that our pets can thrive on, not merely survive.
Quality comes at a cost, however: raw materials in genuine human grade quality cost much more than category 3 material. Most manufacturers are using category 3 materials, so they can naturally offer cheaper products than Terra Canis.
Choosing Terra Canis you know that no compromise has been made on the quality of the products you are trusting to keep your pet happy & healthy and you are feeding them the very best.
