GRAIN-FREE Duck with pumpkin, strawberry and elderflower

The Duck Menu from Terra Canis’ Grain-Free Line is a healthy complete & balanced food for adult dogs of all breeds and sizes.

Duck is not only tasty but it’s a great solution for tackling food sensitivities and allergies. It also has a wealth of other health benefits, including that it is a fantastic source of protein. Naturally higher in fat, duck is excellent for feeding energetic dogs.

Contrary to most people’s beliefs duck is actually low in saturated fats. In addition, it provides a rich source of B vitamins along with plenty of phosphorous, which is good for bones and teeth, and potassium, which enables enzymes, muscles, and nerves to function properly.

Because duck is considered a “Yin” food In Chinese medicine, which means it is good for cooling and calming, many holistic veterinarians recommend feeding it to any pets that suffer from inflammatory conditions like allergies, cancer and arthritis.

The remaining ingredients, including celeriac and pumpkin are bona fide superfoods! Celeriac is a nutritional powerhouse, packed with fiber and vitamins B6, C and K. It’s also a great source of antioxidants and important minerals, such as phosphorus, potassium and manganese. Pumpkins are loaded with antioxidants and disease-fighting vitamins so these gourds aren’t just for carving!

Terra Canis GRAIN-FREE meals have a high meat content of 60-70% and are complemented by lots of healthy, fibre-rich vegetables, fruit and herbs.

Apart from the fresh skeletal muscle meat, the meals also contain heart – hearts are muscular hollow organs and are therefore also considered to be muscle meat – as well as a low quantities of nutrient-rich liver.

Additives such as seaweed, mineral clay, eggshell powder, pollen and brewer’s yeast supply lots of natural vitamins and minerals. The easy-to-digest, cholesterol and gluten-free coconut flour they contain is a true miracle flour. It is considered one of the richest sources of fibre, is gentle on the intestine and contains a wide range of important amino acids. Linseed oil with its high content of Omega-3 fatty acids ideally rounds off the GRAIN-FREE menus. These menus are suitable for all healthy dogs whose owners place value on species-appropriate, grain-free nutrition. They are particularly suitable for dogs with grain intolerances as well as dogs who need to be fed grain-free for medical reasons.
